Hot tub & mini-split circuits in Wenatchee

A hot tub or heat pump purchase needs an electrical plan, too. Columbia Electrical reviews the equipment requirements, circuit route and existing capacity so the electrical work can be coordinated with your installer and delivery schedule.

Send the equipment information first.

Share the make, model and electrical specifications for the hot tub, pool equipment or mini-split. The requirements are equipment-specific. We use that information and the installation conditions to define the circuit, disconnect and other electrical work in the proposal.

Coordinate the route and final location.

The equipment location affects the electrical route and access. For outdoor installations, tell us about finished patios, landscaping and other site constraints. For a mini-split, coordinate with the HVAC installer so equipment placement, electrical requirements and scheduling are understood before either trade arrives.

What changes the price?

Distance from the panel, access, trenching or other site work, outdoor exposure and changes to the existing electrical system can affect cost. Clarify which contractor provides each part of the project so electrical work, equipment installation and site restoration are accounted for.

Project estimates & service-call pricing

Installation projects receive a scope-specific estimate or proposal. Equipment, wiring routes, access, permits and any utility coordination affect the price.

Service calls: $200 first hour · $160/hour after

First-hour minimum. After the first hour, time is billed in 15-minute increments ($40 each). Diagnosis and repair labor share the same clock. Shop-to-shop travel is billable; parts, including markup, and applicable tax are additional.

We back our electrical workmanship with a two-year warranty.

BEFORE YOU START

Questions, answered.

Should I call before the equipment is delivered?

Yes. Providing the equipment requirements and proposed location early helps coordinate the electrical scope and scheduling with the equipment installer.

Can you wire pool equipment as well as hot tubs?

Yes. Our project gallery includes pool equipment electrical installations. Share the equipment list and site plan so the required scope can be reviewed.

Does the HVAC installer handle the electrical circuit?

Confirm this with the HVAC installer. Our proposal identifies the electrical work we are responsible for and how it will be coordinated with the equipment installation.
